As you recall, we carried Decadron (4 mg). Used it for two episodes of altitude sickness. In first case I used one
in late afternoon and one following morning (12 hours apart). It was great, did the trick. Second time was two
weeks later (both were when sleeping at about 15,000'). In that case I used one pill and was better two hours
later. Very valuable tool given our remoteness.
My question is how concerned are you about taking 4 mg of Decadron in this manner (one or two doses 12 hours
apart)? Is this a weapon of mass destruction, a conventional bomb or a .22 caliber bullet?
