Thanks Larry and Jeffrey, its a real pleasure to connect.
I'm very familiar with your interests and efforts in supporting science research and outreach....and have long
thought Nautilus would be the kind of publication that you would find intriguing. As Larry mentioned, I
launched Nautilus four years ago and contrary to a lot of thinking, we found there was an audience hungry for
science and if you wanted to engage them, just tell a good story. We proved that rigor and accessibility were not
mutually exclusive in connecting science to people's lives. We've built an audience, numbering in the millions,
that loves Nautilus for its ability to tell stories with style, substance and imagination.
I'd really look forward to telling you more about what we've built and where we hope to take it. I've attached
our one-sheet to give you a basic overview.

Jeffrey, John is the founder and editor and publisher of Nautilus which I think is the best journal on science and
society out there. I am a regular reader. Lisa has been a contributor on the interface of science and poetry with
EFTA01041081
Richard Dawkins on evolution and with Peter Gallusin on cosmology. Nautilus is looking for support to enable
a transition to being self supporting.
John, Jeffrey who has been very successful financially is a long time friend of Lisa and mine. He has long had
an interest in science--supporting a range of highly creative thinkers at harvard and elsewhere. I know people
who circulate among the powerful, among the wealthy and among the brilliant. Jeffrey does all three to a
unique extent.
I have no idea where it will lead but think you guys should be in touch.
