Hi Anna:
Bosco sent me a picture of the Stbd Shaft and after review I told Bosco that the vessel needs to be hauled and the
running gear removed and examined and at that time a determination of the correct repair procedure be presented to
you.
Please keep in mind that the Stbd engine was removed for repairs and that SBDD was not involved in this project.
The correct alignment of the drive train is critical for long service life, every week a thorough check of the vessel should
be performed. As recommended a full time captain should be employed on Big "N" and check list should be followed .
The video of the shaft looses in the coupling should never have gotten to this point of neglect.
