As discussed I can confirm we will present the Giacometti as the back cover lot for our June Evening
Sale of Impressionist & Modem Art in London. You may send back any amendments to the contract to
my attention and I will add in our promises in Part 4 Marketing Schedule — Back Cover Lot.
You mentioned Jeffrey's interest in bidding in our Magnificent Jewelry Sale this Wednesday. Please let
me know if I can assist in setting up an Absentee Bid or if he wishes to bid by telephone, I can arrange for
him to be on with a trusted colleague as I am out of the office Wednesday morning but should be back in
the afternoon.
We confirmed that upon receiving payment for the Louis IX Bureau Plat being sold in The Exceptional
Sale, we could direct the proceeds from this lot towards the purchase of a lot acquired in the Magnificent
Jewelry sale, as long as we receive payment for the bureau plat in advance of the payment due date for
the jewelry lot.
