MegaBackup isn't mine, it's malware/adware that usually is packaged with some other freeware app installed.
To remove it, you need to quit the megabackup process in /Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor.app, then
trash the app from Applications.

It usually doesn't install alone though, so I'd feel better if I could look at the machine and remove anything else
that's hiding in there.
