History & Estimates for the Service of the Switch Gear & replacement of the control monitor for the Genset
Switch Gear on LSJ
May/June of 2012 the Control Screen for the Genset Switch Gear started to show signs of failure.
There was also indication of PLC issues
The Control Screen shows the operation of the Gensets, alarm issues & allows for adjustment of Genset
operation
July 16, 2012 a proposal was forward to Danny from Russ Electric for the service of the Switch Gear &
replacement of the Screen under warranty.
My history shows Craig Martin was heavily involved with all ZDC and LSJ issues at that time
Also this was handed onto Roy & Stephanie Hodge, Danny handed Proposal back to me upon our return last
month
2012 - To Service Switch Gear & Screen Replacement under warranty was $5,325.00
2016 - To Service Switch Gear only proposed cost $5,885.00
2016 - To Replace Screen with New License, OIP, SCADA Screens & Engineering proposed cost $16,637.00
Total proposed cost for 2016 - $22,522.00
Note as of date the Operating System will not boot up.
Genset is running on auto, but for how much longer??
Please note, both the service of the Switch Gear & Screen replacement is well & truly over due.
