Hi,
I created a new network {named "71st (G)" password sarahsarah} on the third floor. It blankets the front half of
the floor, but doesn't reach into the back rooms (wardrobe, guest room or massage room). Where there is
coverage, the speed is excellent.
Unlike the Eero system, Google Wifi does NOT appear to do multiple-point relay — WAP #2 and WAP #3 both
have to talk back to the main WAP #1, they don't talk to each other. So as long as your main intemet source is
in the middle of the floor, you'll get great coverage. Unfortunately our only network jack is in the far front of
the house on that floor.
So, my preference is for eero. I'm unimpressed by Google wifi.
Looking at 5th floor printer now.
