As noted in the award notification, the project start and end dates are aligned with the
University's fiscal year, therefore it is especially important for the investigators to spend the
award funds during the upcoming fiscal year. The signatures below also confirm that this project
has received all of the necessary and appropriate approvals, e.g., IRB, in order to proceed. The
MBB office will journal expenses on a quarterly basis for expenses incurred to date or as
invoiced. Indirect and/or overhead expenses cannot be charged against this award. A preliminary
report summarizing the experience is due to MBB on 01/15/2016. A final research report is due
09/30/2016 and should also include a financial report summarizing expenditures totaling the
award balance or a rationale for any remaining funds in the account at the end of the award
period (06/30/2016).
