I had sent the attached email to you earlier. Having considered the
matter further, I believe there would be some merit in considering a
suitably crafted letter to the Daily Telegraph, who, as one of the more
respected broadsheets, is more likely to be amenable to the publication
of a clarification/retraction than the tabloids.
We can also give consideration to a complaint to the PCC, although I
have found them to be somewhat spineless in the past.
However, if you could let me have the additional information outlined in
my earlier email, we can give further consideration to our strategic
options.
