just spoke Luis from tile vendor LMT
they recommend shipping tile (Dominican Republic to STT) in full crates which are usually 250-
300 square feet to limit damages - they will be able to ship tile by thursday of next week
cost is 2.25 per sq foot plus delivery charge of $300
need guidance on the following
a) exact amount of tile needed to finish pool / should we keep extra tiles in inventory / any other
areas we need to tile
b) shipping method - if we ship LCL (less than container load) they cannot guarantee delivery
date (say it can be 2-3 weeks) - cost approximately $1100
c) full container approx cost $3000 - tile will arrive in 5 days
