When you approved Dejongh you did not approve my using Ferrer to do the structual engineering ,$11,680 total
for both buildings, that is a very good price as the kitchen slab and roof are complicated.
Approved?

When we shut down Gensler I took the kitchen and laundry to Dejongh two weeks ago to get the building
permits. He gave me a not to exceed proposal of $11,000 for each, very reasonable, for permit working drawings. Total
of $22,000,(within what I thought was the limit of my authority )
I assumed I had the authority and asked Bob to proceed ,he has submitted a invoice for 1/3 that Rich and Darren
tell me it cannot be paid without your approval, as my athority does not apply to consultants) We're about a week from
submitting for a permit.
I also will need some structual done by Paul Ferrer for both the kitchen and laundry,do I need to get your
approval in advance of having him do any work?(it will be less than the architect's fees)I have a invoice for $750 for a
study I had him do to determine the most cost effective way to design the concrete slab for the laundry and kitchen.
For your approval
1.pay Dejongh $7,530.50
2.authorize the balance of Dejongh $15,061.00
2.pay Ferrer $750
3.authority to enter agrement with Ferrer
