I seem to be emailing into a void but if anyone is listening, I think =amie's I/v in New Yorker makes an important point:
large banks can do big =hings internationally for a country's major companies that small banks cou=d not do. It is why
Britain needs global banks, eg Barclays, if we want to sustain our global business inter=sts, and this should be
remembered in the rush to break them up.
