Not as well as I thought I would. As I guess you know, I lived alone for years after my first wife died, and was pretty
much alone for the previous two years of very intensive care at home. So being alone is not new to me — an
had more than a very minimal social life. But it's strangely harder after the time I've been able to spend with.
