I didn't reaize there were jungles in london.. I love the magus„ but fowles style i believe is not at
the level of nabokov or Faulkner. Again the aesthetics of language , turn of phrase, puns , similes
metaphors, alliteration„ deeper and more elegant than the story„ Nabokov said that every story
was the same„ the beauty resided in the details of how it was told... ( no translations ) .. no need
to apologize for " playboys ? " as I felt no need for embassy, Oscar Wilde said that a gentleman
never insults any one -- unintentionally.. You may always take refuge behind your purported
access to a limited english vocabulary.

It is funny that you advice me books, because when we were talking on Saturday, you made me
think about one of my most favourite book, "The Magus" of John Fowles. Did you read it? You
remind me the magus.
