Palm/ Tree Price Comparison
As requested I have compared the prices of trees from Puerto Rico, St.Thomas, and
St.Croix, all things considered.
This was difficult, since many factors and costs are variable costs that differ, with
quantities, etc.
The only costs we know for sure are Puerto Rico, since we have been done it already.
The Plants for sale on St.Thomas offer the opportunity for saving the most on
transportation since we would be able to use LSJ trucks and Big N.
The trees I saw on St.Croix were very spread out, all over the island, which is a logistical
headache, and the prices aren't great, however sellers seemed eager to negotiate.
The Biggest Factors that drastically affect the totals costs are the size (heights) and
quantities desired.
I have outlined the pros and cons of each option, and I also have a spreadsheet, showing
prices.
