Jeffrey
GIV test flight is on schedule for Thursday no mentioned that nay be interested in going
on the Test flight do you want to offer this to
Pre-buy is going well, I met with the Chief records inspector at Gulfstream, he informed me the record keeping
by Dennis's maintenance personal is very good and well organized.
-we are still completing checks, and have a list of items that will be brought up after the test flight, unless
something is found that would prevent a safe test flight,. After test flight, we open the wing tanks, and
rudder/elevator inspections, also below floor cabin will commence after test flight. completing borescope of
engines now, and APU later this afternoon.
The goal is to test fly the aircraft and find more avionic problems before grounding the aircraft for further
inspections,.
We have found both Capt and Copilots AutoPilot flight guidance panels are only displaying in "DIM" mode, hard
to read the display, could be a very large item to repair, if its determined that both main guidance panels need
to be replace.
AUX fuel tank quantity indications are 7001bs in accurate with main system,. not a grounding item and will be
investigated during wing tank inspection, could be fuel quantity computer.
thank you,.
