So what I was going to do was to create a "coin" that we give all students at the
beginning of each semester and in addition to awards and medals. The coins can be
exchanged for drinks at parties (only way to get drinks) and favors and other
things that I might make available. At the end of each semester I would do an
auction to take a bunch of the coin out of circulation and try to have a student
monitoring exchange values, money supply and inflation. I was thinking about
getting an economics student to do a paper on the legal and tax implications and
maybe involve the IRS. MIT is thinking of accepting BitCoin as well.
Don't you think it would be more fun to play central bank and have it almost
interoperable with dollars from a experimentation perspective?

too that they can trade in and out. I'll write up the plan and run it by you.
