Terrance McKnight is the WQXR weekday evening host of " ," a
radio program known for its musical enlightenment. McKnight will lead an
engaging discussion with composer }avid Lang, who won the 2008
Pulitzer Prize for Music, and is the co-founder of the multi-faceted music
organization, . In conjunction with the talk, Lang will
perform a portion of his critically acclaimed Battle Hymns with a 16-voice
chorus accompanied by a drummer. The piece will be conducted by Ted
Sperling, a Tony award-winning conductor who is currently the Artistic
Director of the Collegiate Chorale.
