A few months ago, we started a small, grassroots, decidedly underdog campaign to elect
political newcomer to the Governor's office of New Mexico. Up against four established
Democratic politicians, the task seemed daunting.
But with the support of New Mexicans from across the state—you and people like you—;
are succeeding beyond our wildest dreams!
First, we submitted over 7,500 signatures on our nominating petitions.
Then today, after the votes were tallied at the statewide Democratic Party convention, w
emerged in second place—an astounding showing for the least-known candidate in a five
