Talked to Sami -- he says that he specifically asked the guys if they wanted to sell it and they said now way.
But he says he has been getting calls from brokers asking him the same thing: arc you trying to sell 15 east
Eltst? He said 2 east 63 and 15 east Si are unique because of their width — ie 6o feet or so for 15 east 81. And
he says if the record for a town house in NYC were to be broken it would be one of those two houses. Didn't
mention yours though. I bet he is protecting himself — probably put out a few calls and then the owners,
seeing the skyrocketing prices, decided to pull back.
