Dear Mr. Beller
I just received images of your desk yesterday through our auction
estimates department and it looks like you've been waiting a long time to
get a response. It seems that it went to our 19th century department and
based on the images attached and the information provided, it is hard to
exactly tell the dating of the piece as this very popular form was first made
from the 1720's and then revived in the 19th century. I'm sure this delay
has been very frustrating and I hope I can help.

for me to give you a definitive answer about the age and value of your
desk. What do you know about it and how did you acquire it? Any
information you have about it is always incredibly helpful. If the desk is
located in Manhattan, if it would be possible for me to look at it in person,
as that is always the best way to evaluate something.
