Dear Lesley,
I am following up in the hopes that Mr. Epstein will participate in the
Scholar Statesman Award dinner honoring Mort Zuckerman on October
1st at The Plaza. I know his support would mean a great deal to Mort as
well as to all of us at the Institute.
We are proud to pay special tribute to Mort, a long time friend of The
Washington Institute whose fierce independence and commitment to
principle commands respect from friend and foe alike. We will also be
honoring Dr. Condoleezza Rice whose integrity and indomitable spirit
helped guide our nation through some of its most difficult days.
