The miniature roses were replaced by Gardenia nitida because they were much more fragrant,
heavier-longer lasting blooms and work better in shade.
The desert rose is not a rose, but is a hybrid considered similar to the cactus. Daphne is right- I
remember that Chris had them planted along the stone wall across from the dock.

60 Miniature roses (3 gals) and 48 Desert roses (7 gal) were part of the $56K order.
The "Desert roses" are planted in the stone planters at the main enh ance.
Chris believes the miniature roses were substituted for another plant. He is checking his
