on page 149, referring to the curse of dimensionality, though the 10th order fit requires 10 A 10
terms so did the evolution of bacteria, even with a twenty minute life span , only 10 A 14
generations. evolution somehow is able to solve it by seeming to know what already works
and then tweaking, otherwise intractable. still a mystery
