Jeffrey; I just spoke to Phillip.
He has been in touch with Gary's New Jersey lawyers. Phil says they arc not going to let
him do anything stupid and he can't just write himself a check...besides..as of now,
as per the will, I get 800,000 more than him.
Gary has to pay taxes, etc and so far he has done everything buy the book. He says his
New Jersey lawyers are watching him...they know Gary is in legal trouble
already...and on his case.

We closed on the Alpine house yesterday, and the proceeds will be deposited in the estate
account today. Under separate cover, I am forwarding you the closing statement.
In addition, we have contract on the Palm Beach apartment for $525,000, and hope to
close within 60 days.
