Mars Avionics Manager, Frank will return in the morning to help trouble shoot Gil autopilot issue and determine,
Stab Aug comptr, or Pitch computer,.all communicate together.
I received a letter from Flight Safety yesterday to advise me they officially decommissioned their GIl simulator
and no longer offer a GIl simulator...re-current training will be done in Gill DC simulator with differences training
for GIl, Simuflite also offers Gill sim only, no more Gil. Their reason was simulator repair expense.
I know we are on the right track to moving on, just wanted to share the timing of this letter.
