He told me that he met Steve earlier in day (around 6:30pm) when he was leaving office.

Sam told me that some girl from the office told him that he can start working there full time for $12 per
hour. He thinks that this is not worth as he spends more money on commute plus meals.
However, please do NOT act re this — this is only between us. I do not want to get even more ackward with
Steve.
Also I hate that both of us are wasting so much time on this.
