Doug,
All good comments we are addressing.
For the column spacing, we were going to use 30'x30' as the baseline for concept. We can
try to stretch that to a clear span in the north-south direction, but the beams may get
fairly deep (guessing 4'-5'?)
We will send out revised sketches later this week, reflecting my conversation with Jeffrey
last Friday.
Thanks,
Warwick

Dear Warwick, When you study the column spacing around the pool there should be many

fewer columns or given that the span is only 46 feet what would it take to clear span the room?
The pool equipment should have direct access from the exterior for servicing. A preliminary
cross section through the pool and living room would be helpful to better understand the massing.
The size of this building is actually close to the office building at Red Hook where Jeffrey has his
office, the parking garage and first floor commercial space is about the size of the pool and the
Financial Trust office is a bit shorter than the proposed living room. I think that Tom took photos
of that building from the boat. I look forward to the revised column studies
