Good Afternoon -
I wanted to touch base with you to let you know that we are working on finalizing the
beginning to our historical fiction stories. Tonight's homework is to type and
share with me their second draft beginning of their story. These beginnings
should include a "hook" character development and "show don't tell setting". I am
reaching out because your student may be a bit behind.
For reading this week, there is no TFK but an extended jot is due on Thursday. They
should have a handout with an attached grading rubric for reference. Finally, 30
minutes of reading each night with jots is required.
