You don't like Japanese maples!! The Hydrangea we can get in blue and
pink. That loses its leaves in the winter. Ivy takes a while to get going but
it will look good with your house. We just got to get a definitive for the
ground cover. There would be a nice variation in color if you used barbery
and ivy.

Bob, I am going to answer you on all this stuff...vas in the
Variety Show last night and I was knee deep in helping out...I want
to do this right...I like stellas...but I definitely don't want rose bushes
and I like Endless Summer hydrangea..the blues ...pinks are nice
too...the ones Anna chose are white...I want to be particular..I don't
like the yellow stuff you suggested..I had that at this house and made
them pull it out a few years laters...1 am going to take pictures of the
ground cover I like today...my next door neighbor has it here and it
stays green all year it seems...I agree we need to keep simple for now.
Screening the back yard for sure. Other stuff can wait...i am
particular on trees. Don't like japanese maple...2 feature trees is
enough for me now ...I am going to doctor and will get more out to
you later...
