2014 Honor Award to
Clifford Ross for The Austin Wall and
Mack Scogin and Merrill Elam for the Austin Federal Courthouse
The Austin Wall, a monumental and innovative creation of architectural stained glass,
executed with Franz Mayer of Munich. was commissioned for the new U.S. Austin
Courthouse through the GSA Art in Architecture & Fine Arts Program. Measuring 28
square feet and weighing 5.840 pounds. the wall is a permanent feature of the
courthouse lobby.
