Here is the approximate breakdown.
Anderson 77,000 not energy star not exterior trim
Lincoln - 77,000 they are energy star have exterior trim installed this will save
about 4,500 dollars because I don't have to pay for trim and pay a carpenter to
trim them. That is conservative. Energy star there is some sort of rebate also.
I think it is the sales tax.
Lapage- 115,000 same glass as everyone else a little beter r and u value
Marvin-- 140,000
Jeldwin-- 85,000
I would go with the Lincoln. They use Marvin hardware!

Hi Bob...since the cuppola is on the back side of the house, what if we don't do
windows there and do the shutters instead...how much does that save? We are
still not sold on the Lincoln Window...where we don't want to spend 8150,000 on
Marvin windows (or whatever the price tag was they came in at) we don't want to
compromise too much. The Le Page window we had a sample of was really
nice...Anderson I'm sure would be good too...Will you be giving us the quote
totals so we can make a decision...I know you said you wanted to order the
windows soon...Do you order the sliding French Doors from the window place as
well?
What do you think with this weather..will the framer have to hold off on starting
tomorrow?
