Just sent you a picture of a pattern I like for the floor in foyer...French Knots in the Dining Room
would be very nice...I want to keep the pattern to the edges only in the dining room...
DID THE FRAMERS MAKE IT TODAY (well, minus the one who's dad died!)...?

I think all hardwood would flow real nice. Maybe do a north west east and south inlaid
in the entry? French knots in the Dining room. Or maybe just simple with nice rugs.

Ha, I figured Satin Nickel would be extra...but that is ok...1 want it to look nice.
I want the floors to be wider planks, a dark chocolate stain...I was actually now
thinking I want to do hard wood in the foyer as well but with a pattern...1 will send
you a few pictures I found on Houzz that I really like. It could make the transition
easier from foyer to kitchen to family room also...maybe we do the family room
hard wood as well with very large area rugs...If we don't have columns to really
separate the rooms, I don't know it would look to just stop the wood and start
carpet...
I know exactly where this tile place is in NEw Canaan! i could walk there from
our house.

Yes Satin Nickel is extra.
We need to start looking at tile. There is a store in Norwalk called Stepping
Stones—They could design something nice for the entry and master bath. Also Everest
Marble in Norwalk. Stepping stones has a small showroom in New Canaan off of Morris
Court.
What kind of wood do you want for the floors?

I hear you on the window...thing is, i quite like the way they look the way they
are...I do like the design you came up with though and want to know the price
tag...
Why is the hardware S3000 extra?? Because I chose satin nickel?

The hardware is about 3,000 extra. Remember this is a 2 million dollar project, in the
scope of that much money it's an important decision. In other words it's a small amount
of money in relation to the big number but could make a big impact.

Hi Bob...Sure, you can research a quote...lets see what it comes in at. I will tell
you we arc leaning to just keeping the transoms as is. Let us know what it would
cost 'as is' also...thanks!

I thought a different transom pattern would look custom. That is such a nice room.
What do you guys think. I am pricing it with Lincoln and will get an estimate from grill
lady.
