Subject Re: How's your snow project?
Ok on train to NY now... Yes we were just fine thru the storm. It started snowing around 9am fri
and never stopped till after I went to bed! Ty and I ran around and did errands during the day and
watched a movie that night ... Ike continued on with his poker night at a friends house! We were
lucky. Don't get me wrong, it's tons of snow and I'm not a huge fan but it is manageable. Like ash
said however other towns were hit hard. So hard that our superintendent cancelled school
yesterday because she said there were too many bus drivers and teachers living in these areas who
couldn't get to work. She got a huge backlash of complaints and had to send out an email mid
day explaining how and why she decided to so what she did. Our kids have missed so much
school this year it is crazy. Ty went sledding sat and sun with Ike and had a total blast!
Ash sorry you lost power. At least it was in the middle of the night and only for a couple of
hours!!
Mom, out pipes froze in our entire house a couple of weeks ago and the heat stopped working the
same morning. It just couldn't keep up with the load demand. It was like 2• degrees outside! I
had emergency plumber and oil guys come and they were able to fix...$1500 later. What fun it is
living in the north east! Love , les

so no consequence. All the activities that were scheduled for Saturday just
moved to Sunday -- easy -- but LOTS of snow for sure -- almost 2 feet here
in Bedford --- ridiculous amounts in towns that some of my colleagues work
in (48 inches!) -- crazy
