Sometimes doing things to fast can cost us time and money. We need to have the
plans approved anyway. We are proceeding with caution which is important.

After sending you my request for help, I was able to leave messages for 3 of the
companies...hopefully they call me back asap...

only does removal. gave me name of an inspector, Chemscope)

Chemscope, Scott: Spoke to Scott...he will work up a proposal for
us
Scott says we really should not do the inspection until our renters move out...if
asbestos is found, we don't want the town to make us go through a ton of things
that they may make us do because their are renters there.
Thing is, he says his inspection and write up can take up to a week to
accomplish. Then, if there is asbestos we have to shop around a bid for a
removal person, then the person has to remove it and dispose of it properly and
give the town all the signed documents...Basically, Scott says it can take 4-6
weeks for all of this. I would love to start now, but I think we could get
ourselves in trouble if we start before the renters are gone!
