=and I had a fun shopping day and we went to the Long Ridge Day Camp "meet and
greet" which was good. I feel more connected to who they will be with and where
after meeting all of them. They will be there for 4 weeks. I stayed at home today
until the bus came to retrieve them for their first (soggy) camp day. I wanted to be
there for the first bus ride and shake hands with the bus monitor, etc. I had met
her on Sat. but it was good to be there.
Dinner with the Gerkens was really fun and the dinner was so awesome I have to say! I
prepped everything Friday night, so all that had to be done was the rice & corn (or,
well that's all I did. . Pete had to grill the chicken and vegs.)
Then, yesterday we went to the BBQ at about 2:30. . . I had my first wine spritzer
at about 3 pm. . . needless to say, prob had too much -- but I feel fine because I
was very hydrated.
•I will def bring the kids for the 4th of July fireworks. . . Pete will prob be out of town in
CA (death in the family -
