From Wcd Sep 21, 20116:30 PM EDT to Wed Sep 2I, 20I 18:30 PM EDT
BBPW Presents
The September Roundtable: Book Signing with Pulitzer prize nominated author Dr.
Marsha Coleman-Adebayo BC '74.
Her just released book, No Fear A Whistleblower's Triumph Over Corruption and Retaliation
at the EPA, recounts her harrowing story as a senior official at EPA. How could she know that
the agency with a hippie-like logo would use every racist and sexist trick in their playbook in
retaliation? Marsha's experiences including threats to her and her family led to passage of the
NO FEAR ACT, the first civil rights law and whistleblower act of the 21st century. Now three
million federal employees are required to take No Fear training every two years and every
federal government website displays links to information about employee rights from the NO
FEAR ACT.
Marsha has been profiled in The Washington Post, Government Executive, TIME Magazine,
JET Magazine and Good Housekeeping Magazine, which honored her with the Grand Prize
for its Good Housekeeping Award for Women in Government. Don't miss the opportunity to
meet Marsha, hear her speak about her book and the importance of social engagement in the
intimate setting of a BBPW roundtable.
