Hello Leslie;
and I just finished a lengthy tour and detailed conversation about what
application is about, re arin for DATs etc etc... I think most dental colleges
will view her years in as good preparation, assuming she has the few
required courses ( she knows which now.) We rarely consider a candidate without
a bachelors degree but her circumstances are highly unusual. As I related to
her, this will be a challenge. I truly empathize with what lies ahead to
accomplish this large changeover, but my sense is that she is an adult who is
ready to take it on! She is a very nice person with good empathy, a critical
issue in good patient care. She also met a good number of students here and
some faculty. If nothing else, it gives her a good starting point for comparing
dental colleges here in the US. She know she can get back in touch w any Qs, a
revisit, et al..
Best wishes,
Dr D
