Hi Martin,
Regarding the first question, I may have an hour later on this afternoon, maybe
about 4 or so — would that work for you. Hopefully I can be helpful.
Second, I did meet Jeffrey once at a dinner with Steve Kosslyn (a big loss for
Harvard in my view) several years ago — maybe the dinner was even
in your building? This Thursday I am tied up all afternoon, but could
be free in the evening, I think. I would very much enjoy seeing him
again, as I have followed some of his travels through my good friend,

and dean who hired me here about 33 years ago, Henry Rosovsky.
Let me know whether Thursday evening can work and I'll try to
break free.
Best, Don

Dcar Don,
I am writing for two reasons.
I have a statistical question that is associated with a major controversy
in my field (of evolution). I wonder if I could come by one day to ask for
your opinion?
The second reason is that my long term friend and supporter, Jeffrey Epstein,
would love to meet you. Would you be interested to meet him? He is a
great philanthropist and very much appreciated by his many friends.
His next visit is already this Thursday, when he brings Misha Gromov
(the famous mathematician) and others.
If you are interested in principle may I call you?
