Nice - ok=- tell the cook anything except fish (since it is hard to know what you ar= eating or where it has been)...
Vegetarian is also fine, so is ve=y simple food, with few ingredients.
Ideas include: simple, =icely-cooked fresh vegetables, pasta with minimal fresh herbs, etc.
