We just had our Antiquities sale last Wednesday and it performed exceedingly well, with the top lot being an
Egyptian portrait of Amenhotep III which reached nearly $1.4 million against an estimate of $200/300,000. This shows
that the market has a tremendous appetite fo= exquisite objects with solid provenance that are fresh to the market and
enticingly estimated. With that in mind, I would very much like to=20 continue our discussion on the Epstein marbles, as
I am sure these would be much sought after by a wide array of potential buyers ranging from the dedicated collectors to
those searching for beautiful and decorative works of art.
