have decided to abandon Ft Lauderdale as a place to live—ghastly for me (who dislikes driving) an area entirely
saturated by 4 and 6 lane highways criss-crossing it top to bottom, only one household possessing anybody i know
i am planning to fly to Jamaica this coming Monday January 4th
i hope i will get a chance to see you before then, both to talk about personal matters and about my intention to follow
up your research suggestions—if i can not see you, i will write and hope to see you in person on a later visit to the area
(e.g. end of June to take my son up to Rochester Institute of Technology and end of February to take him to
Emory)
i am very low at the moment but think it is key to get to my own own and hunker down, get my research program up
and running and so on
hoping to see you Friday, latest another day or two
