Hey Rich & Daph,
Notes from Mr. Munkes the Barge Mechanic that came out today...
- Bilge needs to be cleaned
- To much Oil in the Bilge
- 2 45ga1 Drums needed for clean up
- 5 5gal Degreaser needed for clean up
- Boat Electrician needed: to much loose wires hanging on hot equipment that=could melt.
- Oil Tape needed when changing or reconnecting joints and lines to stop cor=osion.
- Oil change needed
- New fuel filters needed
- Barge Captain was putting old oil in the fuel tank because the diesel will=thin out. It could work but it's a bad idea for
the engines because it make= it work much harder.
- The fuel is dirty from the old oil.
- Storage room is a mess
- Hydraulic lines can give way at anytime. Need all new equipment and lines.=- if coast guard check our barge we would
be in violation.
