Regarding the Ettore Soffritti cello I do remember seeing the instrument. It is an excellent example of the maker's work
and based on my memory of the instrument and the current marketplace I think an appropriate value for insurance
purposes would be $200,000. However before I would be willing to write a formal insurance appraisal I would need to
see the instrument again.
