Dear Jeffrey,
Sometime ago, after we met =or the first time, I started wondering what makes people forgive =thers.
So -- I asked about 500 people how =ikely they are to forgive, befriend, hire people who were accused of =ifferent
crimes, after they have served their sentence according to the =aw.
This is far from an ideal study, but what =ou see in the attached file is that crimes related to sex do worse than =nything
else (even murder), and that violations or government rules are =he easiest for people to forgive.
I =ealize that this is not good news for you, and I have no intentions to =ffend, but I am sending it to you in case you are
interested. And =f you want to talk about where to take this research or other =uestions, let me =now.
