PROPOSAL
The overall goals of the `Dinochicken Project' are to `reverse engineer' an avian
dinosaur (in this case, a chicken or quail) to have morphological
characteristics of a non-avian ... dinosaur. In its purest form, the project
entails reactivating dormant or latent genetic pathways that would
generate atavistic characters. The characters to be modified initially

Everybody loved dinosaurs when they were little, but some of us never outgrew it (well, yet anyway). Besides ... liking
dinosaurs a lot (I have a T rex skeleton in my living mom), I also study dinosaurs seriously enough to write scientific papers
on them from time to time ... splash.
My latest is a long technical article on the statistical issues in dinosaur growth rates. Now, I will readily admit that this
