with Gene founded the Roundabout Theatre Company, first located in the basement ... supermarket
building owned by the housing development in Manhattan where the Feists lived. Kathe a stage
actress was professionally known as Elizabeth Owens and appeared in more than 30 plays ... Founding Director and he died in March at the age of 91.
Gene and Kathe conceived of the Roundabout as a home to classics by Shaw, Pirandello, Ibsen
