We held our most recent Scholar Rescue Fund Global Selection Committee meeting on June 29. This was one of
three meetings over the past year to consider cases ... help preserve the intellectual capital of that country. Interestingly, our recent Global meeting was dominated by an
influx of cases of threatened scholars from another single country — Iran ... cases we chose to fund, all
of them are from Iran.
