Jeffrey,
During my pre flight, I noticed my parking brake accumulator reading 1000psi, which is my nitrogen preload on the
accumulator,
When I turn on my Aux pump to build pressure for my parking brake, its suppose to build my pressure to 3000psi, when
I turn on aux pump to build extra hydraulic pressure, it only charges my brakes to 1300psi not 3000psi, sounds like a
pressure switch is faulty or sticking,.
I have normal brakes with engines running due to combined hydraulic system and my backup system is utility hydraulic
system which operates normal also,. I feel confident to fly the plane and change this pressure switch in either St thomas
or Teterboro. I tried tapping of the psi switch to no avail.
I just wanted you aware of my findings, I spoke to Gulfstream tech ops to verify my conclusion.
thx
Larry
